Hallo, ich bin Doktorand in der Arbeitsgruppe von Prof. León (INRES Pflanzenzüchtung) und möchte mich mit der Möglichkeit befassen Machine learning Algorithmen für die Auswertung von Feldversuchsdaten von mehreren Jahren und Standorten zu nutzen. Bislang hab ich mich lediglich mit der Theorie rund um Machine learning befasst und möchte diesen Kurs gerne nutzen um einen Einstieg in die praktische Anwendung zu finden. Darf man als Doktorand in diesem Kurs teil nehmen und haben Sie noch einen Platz frei? Mein Name ist Nicolai Gerber (Matrikelnummer 2958050) und ich studiere zurzeit Mathematik im Bachelor. Dear Vaggelis Lamprou, the programming language is python. You should have done a few simple things with python, numpy and matplotlib. Using some of the introductory tutorials available on the web for these beforehand would be useful. We will do some more specific introduction in the beginning of the course. It doesn't hurt to have some knowledge of the material in the numerics courses in second year of the bachelor in mathematics (both Einführung in Numerics) to have some more background. But we will explain the algorithms in the course. Please confirm if you want to register for the course, so that we can put you on the list.
