Hi, likely yes, although having heard some of the numerics content of AlMa or the numerics courses in the second year will be benefitial. We will fill in some of the background on the needed numerics. The exercise sheets are algorithmically oriented and what is needed to be implemented is clearly spelled out. Without numeric background you will not understand everything on the numerical background of the approaches, but at least you should still be able to work on the exercise sheets of the practical lab.
