Hallo zusammen,
auf den Rechnern am INS ist nun ein Owncloud-Client installiert, mit
dessen Hilfe auf die Sciebo-Cloud zugegriffen werden kann. Dazu sind
folgende Schritte notwendig:
- Auf www.sciebo.de "Registrierung" auswaehlen, die entsprechende
Universitaet angeben und mit dem Universitaetslogin anmelden.
- Passwort waehlen und die Adresse des sciebo-Servers sowie Login
notieren (Bspw. https://uni-bonn.sciebo.de und E-Mail-Adresse)
- Den Owncloud-Client mittels
/opt/packages/owncloud-client/bin/run-owncloud.sh starten und die
sciebo-Server-Adresse angeben.
- Mit sciebo-Login anmelden und ein Verzeichnis zum Synchronisieren
auswaehlen (z.B. ~/ownCloud)
- Im geoeffneten Konfigurationsfenster ggf. unter "General" "Launch on
System Startup" auswaehlen, um den Client automatisch bei Anmeldung zu
starten.

in order to use the Sciebo Cloud service, follow these instructions:
- Go to www.sciebo.de and click "Register", then select your university
and enter your university login
- Choose a password and note down the address of the sciebo server, as
well as your login (e.g., https://uni-bonn.sciebo.de and your e-mail
address)
- Run the Owncloud client via
/opt/packages/owncloud-client/bin/run-owncloud.sh and enter the sciebo
server address
- Sign on with your sciebo login and pick a directory for
synchronization (for example ~/ownCloud).
- Once done, you can select the "General" tab in the configuration
window and check "Launch on System Startup" in order to automatically
start the client when signing on.
