Hallo zusammen, manche werden sich an die früheren PraMa-Fußballspiele erinnern, bei denen am Ende des Semesters die Studenten der PraMa-Vorlesung gegen eine Vertretung des IAMs (Dozenten, Mitarbeiter und Studenten) gespielt haben. Nach dem ich schon ein paar Mal überlegt und gesagt habe, es wäre doch nett das wieder aufleben zu lassen, sollte ich dem Reden nun auch Taten folgen lassen. Ich bitte um Rückmeldung von denen die Lust haben in einer INS-Mannschaft mitzuspielen. Wir wollen das, zumindest beim ersten Mal, nicht so 'ernst' nehmen wie früher die PraMa-Spiele (die musste das IAM ja gewinnen ;-)), aber 2x30 Minuten Fußball mit anschließendem Grillen (oder ähnlichem) sollte eine nette Veranstaltung werden. Liebe Mitarbeiter des INS, am kommenden Montag werden Aviv Gibali und Jan Schwientek (Fraunhofer IWTM, Kaiserslautern) im Rahmen unseres Forschungsseminars "Mathematics of Computation" zu den Themen "Projection methods - a powerful tool for real-world problems and combinatorial games" und "Chebyshev approximation and semi-infinite programming" vortragen. Die Vorträge finden am Montag, den 26.5. um 14:15 Uhr im Raum 5.002 WE6 statt. Zwischen den Vorträgen (gegen 15 Uhr) werden Kaffee, Tee und Gebäck gereicht.
