We are delighted to announce that the 3rd European Postgraduate Fluid Dynamics Conference (EPFDC) will be held at the University of Nottingham, UK from the 13th to 16th of July 2009. The EPFDC is a conference organised by and for postgraduates in the field of fluid dynamics, whether their focus be numerical, analytical or experimental. Everyone is welcome. With funding secured from EUROMECH and the London Mathematical Society, this year's conference has been extended to four days and will host up to fifty attendees from institutions across Europe. Our plenary speakers have been arranged and are: Prof Andrew Fowler (Oxford), Prof Jacques Magnaudet (IMFT, Toulouse), Prof Timothy Pedley (Cambridge), Prof David Quéré (ESPCI, Paris).
