Liebe Kollegen, bitte benutzt grundsaetzlich die Email-Adresse operator@ins.uni-bonn.de zur Kontaktaufnahme mit der Systemadministration. Beschraenkt bitte Anrufe oder Besuche im Adminraum auf dringende Faelle (z.B. nicht funktionierender Rechner, Netzwerkausfall). Weiterhin darf ich nochmal daran erinnern, dass ohne vollstaendig ausgefuelltem und unterschriebenem Accountantrag kein Account angelegt werden kann. (Es wird demnaechst auch englischsprachige Antragsformulare geben) Ich weise darauf hin, dass das wiss-staff-Netz nur Mitarbeitern des INS vorbehalten ist und nur Dienstlaptops des INS dort angeschlossen werden duerfen. Studenten, SHKs und Gaeste koennen einen Account im wiss-stud-Netz bekommen oder dort ihr Notebook anschliessen. Wenn ihr einen Gast empfaengt, schreibt bitte rechtzeitig (am besten zwei Tage vorher) den Admins eine Mail, in welchem Raum ihr die Gaeste unterbringen werdet und ob sie dort einen Rechner brauchen. Nur so kann sichergestellt werden, dass beim Eintreffen der Gaeste die erforderliche Ausstattung (Rechner oder Netzwerkanschluss fuer Laptop) vorhanden ist. Viele Gruesse, Bram Metsch. Please limit phone calls to urgent cases only (e.g. broken computer hardware or network blackouts). Please note that an user's account application form must be filled out and signed before an user account for the workstations can be created. (Account application forms in English will soon be available) Only employees of the INS are eligible for an account in the wiss-staff network and only notebooks that belong to the INS may be connected to this network. Students (including student assistants) and visitors may obtain an account for the wiss-stud network. If you receive a visitor, please notice the system administration in advance in which office your visitor will stay and whether she/he needs a computer.
