All scientists and students can get free copies for your computer(s) (laptop, PC at home...) All common operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) are supported. On http://mathematica.physik.uni-bonn.de you find the installation instructions (in German only at the moment, sorry). The download data are: User: math PW: 600003 The license number is: L4707-3337 (for scientists) L4707-3273 (for students) (the numbers are different for statistical reasons) If you install the software on PCs in the institute, you may use the network license we also have. In that case you don't have to register the machine. The license server is: dirac.th.physik.uni-bonn.de At the moment we have 50 network processes. For technical reasons, the number of licenses can't be set to infinity. If this number is not be sufficiently large (i.e. you can't compute because all licenses are busy), please tell me.
