did you try the code snippet on the website? The one starting with „import pandas as pd“. It is direct under the material. 

Dear mister Schürg,

We are working on the rhine level data set and try to run the wsv module

to get the levels data

levels = wsv.RiverLevelData('data/riverlevels.tar.bz2', CACHE)

but neither is there a folder data in the template nor a file riverlevels.tar.

we tried to use the provided rhine level data set instead but it has format .pickle instead of .tar.
