[Ag-peterseim] [Ins-wegelerstrasse] Umzug / INS IT
Hey everyone, -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- Summary, German version below -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- The institute will go offline on *Wednesday the 29th of August, 9:00*. Web- and eMail-Services will be restored latest on *Friday, the 31th of August 18:00*. No emails will be lost, only delayed. Please power off your machine on the evening of Tuesday August, 21th. Pack your keyboard and mouse with the regular office stuff. Remove all cables from display and machine, clean them from dust and put them on your desk. Check the example images attached. Please keep external harddisks, usb-sticks and everything else with your personal stuff. Label your display(s) and machine please with *2.038*. In the new building we prepared a room where desks and chairs are available and you can connect your laptop to the eduraom network. When your office is packed, you can exchange your current key for a key to the new building, please contact Johannes Rentrop. -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- Das wichtigste vornweg: Spaetestens Dienstag Abend, schaltet bitte Eure Rechner aus, zieht alle Kabel, rollte diese ordentlich auf und legt sie bereit. Es finden sich Beispielbilder im Anhang. Label sowohl den Rechner als auch das/die Display/s mit *2.038*. Der IT Umzug folgt diesem Zeitplan: am Montag, den 27. und Dienstag den 28.8. machen die Admins die Rechner in den Praktikumsraeumen und unbewohnten Bueros reisefertig. *Am 29.8. um 9:00 geht das Institut offline*. Das Arbeiten im Institut ist dann nicht mehr moeglich. Das betrifft auch Web- und Mail-Server. Das Routing wird vom HRZ auf den Neubau umgestellt. Wir konfigurieren dort die Firewall und nehmen die Web- und Mail-Server wieder in Betrieb. Das wird spaetstens bis Freitag, 31.8. 18:00 passieren. Es werden keine eMails verloren gehen, sie werden allerdings verzoegert ausgeliefert. Am Donnerstag den 30.8. und Freitag den 31.8 machen die Admins die Server, Bandroboter, Notstrom-USVs und Netzwerkinfrastruktur reisefertig. Im Neubau sind Raeume vorbereitet in denen es Tische und Stuehle gibt, dort steht eduroam zur Verfuegung. Wer sein/hr Buero gepackt hat, kann bei Johannes Rentrop den alten Schluessel gegen einen zum Neubau tauschen.
