We are happy to inform you that the program covers a variety of interesting topics by internationally recognized experts. *Location*: Technische Universität Dreden, Germany *Dates*:   - Summer school: August 19th - August 23rd, 2019   - Hackathon:  August 17th - August 18th, 2019   - Early bird registration deadline: July 22nd, 2019. (Participation is limited so that we recommend to register as soon as possible.)     The summer school is of interdisciplinary interest to Ph.D. students, researchers and practitioners who want to inform themselves about current trends and challenges in the Big Data and Machine Learning fields. The presentations are held by internationally leading experts from various research areas and represent a broad perspective in this active area. Prior to the summer school we offer the opportunity to take part in an hackathon event to work on concrete examples in a relaxing atmosphere. Ideally, hackathon participants bring some programming skills as well as basic knowledge of data analytics and machine learning frameworks.
