Dear Users of the INS network, The authentication system of the INS network is up and running again. Due too an corruption of the user database, we had to reset all user passwords. Neither VPN nor eMail passwords were affected. No breach in security was caused. All machines had to be rebooted, so all running jobs were killed. No filesystem data was lost. Please visit the office in 2.040, bring your ID and get your new generated password. On your first login you will be forced to update the generated password. If you run into any problems, do not hesitate to contact the System Administration via support@ins.uni-bonn.de. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused. TL:DR; If you got your new password already, you can now login. You have to change your password on the first login. If you don't have your new password yet, please come and get it in 2.040.
